Prior to the qualifying tournament in the Dominican Republic the Federation had been asked by the TTOC for submission of the team. I explained that this was not possible as no places had been secured as we were about to leave for the qualifier.
On our return we were left will little time to submit the names as the closing date for this is April 30th, with two earlier deadlines for participation numbers on April 13th and travel submission data by April 20th. We returned to Trinidad on the evening of the 9th April. The Federation met both early dates and will submit the final document on or before the 30th April.
Please also note that final team approval is the purview of the TTOC and will be done after final meeting with their Executive and Chef de Mission. The entire team selected to represent T&T ( in all sports) must then be ratified by the General Council made up all the National Governing Bodies.
